Once a month, the six women of the Sweetgum Knit Lit Society gather to discuss books and share their knitting projects. My thoughts:

Unfortunately I was only able to finish The Confidential Life of Eugenia Cooper, so I will have to review the others at a later time, but I just want to say that I adored Gennie Cooper's story. This book was full of humor, romantic tension between Gennie and Daniel, and the many antics of Daniel's daughter Charlotte - a combination that made me not want to put it down. The 'story within the story' of the spunky Mae Winslow and her dime store adventures definitely add to the Wild West flavor of the book. I hope Kathleen Y'Barbo will write more books in this vein - I'm already needing another fix!
