Jon & Kate Plus 8 Book coming in November

How many of you enjoy TLC's hit show "Jon and Kate Plus 8"? I just saw where Zondervan has announced that Kate Gosselin, along with family friend Beth Carson, are writing a book about Kate and Jon's experiences.

Zondervan's press release about Multiple Bles8ings:

Multiple Blessings shares the gripping details of the couple's journey after learning they were expecting sextuplets, while raising twin toddlers. While strongly encouraged by doctors to consider selective reduction for the sake of both mother and babies, the couple believed each baby was a gift from God and accepted the challenge he was giving them. Kate also writes about the numerous challenges the couple faced, including the medical battle involved in carrying six babies to the critical 30-week mark, and the loss of Jon's job that forced the couple to rely on God completely. Overall, the book is an inspirational and moving account of how the Gosselins found everyday strength in spite of emotional, financial, social, and physical exhaustion.

"The Gosselins' story is not only unique by nature but also offers an unparalleled set of life experiences that are emotional, inspirational and encouraging, and we're thrilled to welcome Kate as a Zondervan author," says Scott Bolinder, executive vice president and publisher at Zondervan. "Kate and Jon are walking a road that few others have taken, and they consistently show tremendous grace, patience and courage in their daily lives as they seek to provide for their eight children and raise them to honor God in a world where compromise and escape have become all too common."

Kate and Jon Gosselin's twins, Cara and Madelyn, were born October 8, 2000. Their sextuplets were born May 10, 2004. The Gosselin family is the star of the television reality series, Jon & Kate Plus 8, which premiered its third season on TLC in January.

Can't wait to read this one...and you can find the whole clan on the web at sixgosselins.com.

These people Jon and Kate Gosselin are greedy people.

John and Kate are very great parents people in this world need to get in a life I am sure you would be greedy to if you had 8 kids.

Have you ever even watched their show???? They are no where near greedy!!!!!!

WOW, pretty sure the gosselins are no where near being greedy, they are the nicest and funnest people ever and i love their show.I think what they do everyday is amazing with 8 kids and 6 being the same age is awesome. So whoever thinks they are greedy, get a life.

Clearly you have never seen an episode of their show!!! They are the most thankful and generous people around. Even thought they do have eight children they still finds ways to donate and give back to their community. How dare you accuse them of being greedy when all the care most about is raising their children in a normal, healthy environment. Shame on you for making that accusation! These are great people and their show definitely depicts that!!!!

Kate,

I just want you to know that I adore your children, and love tuning in at 9:00 every Monday night and watching you live your day to day lives.

Some veiwers are acusing you of being greedy and I completly disagree with them. You clearly appreciate every gift from God, and you know that if it wasn't for Him, you would have never been blessed with all of the things he has provided you and Jon with. Everyone know that when the going gets rough, that's who we turn to.

Your chlidren are a bundle of joy and I adore each and every one of them! It does amaze me how different they are! I love the little gestures and comments they make! Such four year old gestures too! It also amazes me how Cara and Mady never seem to think, "what would it be like if they were never here?" They show how much they love eachtoher, and I greatly adore your WHOLE family for that, because with the small family I live in, we don't get along as well as a family of TEN does. I just wanted to let you know how much I adore your family and that everyone is supporting you through all of those very motherly moments!

May God keep blessing you!

I do watch the show and I agree! Kate is mean to her husband, insulting him constantly! She does not appear to appreciate any of the help she has, financial or otherwise! I hated the episode where she screamed about the gum...she should be glad she has a sister in-law to help her! This week the owner of the Phillies and his wife treated them to an evening in the owners box all expenses paid I can only assume, and Kate said on air..well I would go if it was Basketball! What a rude and insulting thing to say after they had extended such an opportunity to them! She says "she is honest to a fault" I say she has very bad manners!

I would just like to say "who are we to judge them?" Yes we watch Jon and Kate and the kids once a week and feel as though they are a part of our lives, but we are not always seeing the whole story! We have to remember that this is still a show that has been edited! Goodness, I was just wanting to look into their new book and I cannot believe what I have read from previous posts.

I watch because I learn to look at life differently, things like be thankful for what you have, how everyone (including myself) has flaws, enjoy the small things, trust and one will be provided for, and be thankful for all your blessings. I think we all watch because during difficult times we can think "if Jon and Kate can do it so can I", they give us strength, and I say again how dare we judge them.

I know one day the show will end and I think this book will be something that I will enjoy reading time and again, just to be reminded of all that Jon and Kate have set out to do by being in this show and sharing their lives with us every week.

So thank you Gosselins!! Keep it up you are doing amazing!!

Ok, I know everyone is on the Jon and Kate bandwagon, but hey, it's America, so free speech.....I'M NOT!. Here's the thing, everyone is watching their show and making them a bundle of money. Seems harmless, doesn't it? But, there whole scenario really is a "deal with the devil". Now just wait a few years, and Jon and Kate are going to act truly shocked when their "oh so cute" children are not so cute anymore. There children are already showing signs of "distress" for lack of a better word, and I should know, I have a degree in psychology. I genuinely hope they have a child psycnologist working with their family, especially now that they have a TV show. I am not trying to bash them, I simply do not agree with the "amazing parents" portrayal, and believe they are making innocent and unfortunately detrimental mistakes. If you ask there community, which I happen to live literally within a few miles of them, many are not fans! Let me make it cystal clear as to why many are not. It is not jealousy, it is not because we are perfect people or parents, it is not becuase many believe the are greedy.....it is because as a parent we believe in "mama bear" protection. These children are being put on display like little dolls. When people watch their show, you are only encouraging their innapropriate behavior. I see the cute commercials, and the specials on Discovery Health. This is NOT going to turn out well. Without giving names away, people who are in close contact with this family have a very different outlook on their situation and what is portrayed on TLC. I wish them the best, but have an uneasy feeling about their future. I am very afraid of what these children are going to act like when they go to middle school and high school. If they weren't already showing behaviors which were not good, I would say, whatever, but they are. I actually used to work with delinquints and many of the children's behaviors they are exhibiting now are consistent with many the children I worked with had. I am sure that Jon and Kate will never read, that I put money on. However, if they did, I would tell them they are probably trying to make the best decisions for the situation they are in. I also would warn them that I truly believe they are heading down a very wrong path, one that I am afraid they will learn in good time! I hope the money is worth it, because what they have created can no longer be undone. Unfortunately, in five or ten years, I believe they are going to regret the decisions they have made right now. Also, on a final not, I don't know why Kate agrees to be on the show because the show is very uncomplimentary to her attitude, and well, they just make her look REALLY bad! She probably figures she can laugh all the way to the bank, but seriously, how many blows to the self esteem can you take. She would have to feel like crap, and that just can't be worth the money! Anyways, after hearing many complaints of close neighbors, etc, and people just complaining about them, they have alluded to the fact that they are going to move, and that is probably for the best! It seems like they need to move on and find a place that maybe respects what they are doing a little more! They need to find a place that likes all the attention and thinks what they are doing is a positive thing for their children. There you go, I never have written on a blog before, and probably never will again, but I have said my peace about the Gosselins and I wish you all a good night!

The beautiful thing about this country? If you don't want to watch it, then turn it off! I happen to love the show.

You have two parents who make no omissions whatsoever about NOT being perfect, and you have multiples who are learning how to be individuals!

And as for the money...At least come college time, they won't be a dredge on us as taxpayers for 8 scholarships.

I happen to also love the show and really admire Kate and Jon for what they both do. I run a Dayhome out of my home and i only have 6 children a day and for me that is plenty some days so i can only imagine having 8 all the time can be very stressful...So i wish Jon and Kate all the success and happiness they deserve!!!

I will also be purchasing the book!!

As for freedom of speech i was always taught if you don't have anything nice to say then DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!!

These people are very self absorbed and they should actually learn to share. They're very mean to their kids to. It makes me sad.

Whoever said Jon & Kate are greedy are JEALOUS! Jon & Kate are awesome people AND parents. How many people can say they have their ONE kid in line the way Jon & Kate do. I wish them both so much luck & happiness. (they are people (parents) to look up to!

Lots of RIDICULOUS negative comments about Jon and Kate. Sure, sometimes Kate says things that maybe she shouldn't, but gee, don't we all??? I know I do. Those cute people have a tremendously full plate and they're doing a wonderful job in all respects.

So the guy who "has a psychology degree" (posted 11/20, 11:59pm) thinks he's pretty smart. Whoop-de-doo! I'm NOT impressed. (Notice he said he "has a degree." Whats-a-matta? Can't you get a job in the field???)

The Gosselins are humans and will always do human things, like acting out, showing tempers, etc. Sure, Jon and Kate get angry at times with each other and with the kids. Good grief! That's being HUMAN!!! They are terrific parents and precious children. Yes, the show can't last forever, unlike "The Price is Right", but for now, I don't blame Jon and Kate for taking advantage of all the opportunities coming their way. Just imagine the cost of raising 8 kids. I'd also want to make money to help with expenses and to have enough to invest for future security. It just makes good sense/cents.

For those of you who think Jon and Kate are greedy: jealous are you? Too bad for you. Jealousy is ugly. Just turn your channel if you don't like them. Remember: when you watch, you're increasing their ratings! Just think how difficult it would be (no matter how much money you're being paid), to have all those crew members in your private space, watching and filming your every move, in good moods and bad, and then it's broadcast for us all to see. I could sure use the cash, but I wouldn't do it. Hats off to the Gosselins (again, no matter how much they're being paid).

I love Jon and Kate Gosselin and their eight beautiful children! They are wonderful people, I love their show because it seems real! Jon and Kate don't pretend like many other reality shows today! They are not greedy at all, they are wonderful!! Love them!!

Me and my 4year old daughter love to watch the show. I will agree that while they make it out to be that they r hurting financially, I know they r not. But...before the show,I guarantee they were struggling big time. So, to all of those who think they can do what they do-I would love to watch u one day in their lives. And I probably would bet my life that u would enjoy being paid also. One more thing- out of all the kids, I absolutely love Hannah, and think Mady is such a little brat who I personally would like to beat!

John and Kate are exploiting there children. When these children grow up, they will be teased so badly. All the potty pictures and the redicelous outbursts allready from Maddy. She is a very angry girl and will probably end up as rude as her mom.....John is living off of TLC and should get a job of his own like everyone else. Enough freebies.........

WOW. If you have the time to talk trash about other people, you really have issues! Get a life and leave these people alone. Why do you care about how other people live their lives!

If you watch the show you could see that they aren't greedy people at all. They give back to other people all the time!

Jon and Kate do a great job bringing up 8 kids. At times Jon and Kate do snap at each other, but i think that is all part of being a parent. At least when there show is being taped they do not pretend to be someone there not. I love there show, and i think there kids are brill!!

Wow people wake up Jon has a job do you not realize he is gone during the day. Also for the person that said he has a degree in psychology you can't even spell I wouldn't send my children to see you. I do agree Kate is very OCD and can be rude but who isn't at times especially when we are overwhelmed.

come on people drop the word "greedy". Jon and kate are very blessed with 8 kids. Look, God was on their side and it's great all the praying kate did when she was in the hospital. look how far that blessed family has come. I give them credit.

Love the show-- but was very disappointed in the 2nd book --it basically was about a dozen pages of pictures -- had hoped for stories about the kids, their school routines, selecting the new home process, activities of the 8 little ones -- I am a grandma and such things make wonderful reading
