Cool Beans by Erynn Mangum

About Cool Beans:

Everything seems to be going perfectly for Maya Davis: She has a great job at a coffee shop, gets along with her parents, and is happily single. That is until her best friend unknowingly starts dating Maya’s high school sweetheart, her annoyingly perfect brother moves back to town, and her co-worker starts showing interest in her. What is God trying to teach her about life, love, and commiserating over coffee?

My thoughts:

Just when I thought Erynn Mangum couldn't top her fantastic Lauren Holbrook series, I'm happy to say she's proven me wrong! Maya Davis is every bit as endearing, and comes with her own set of amusing quirks and unforgettable friends (of both the two-legged and four-legged variety). And just because this is chick lit, don't think this book will be as frothy as the milk in your cappuccino - it's wisdom is as rich as your favorite espresso and will percolate long after you close the cover.
