My Grandma BeulahNovember 27, 1913 - February 4, 2009Even though you had a stern side, Grandma, you were happy and fun-loving, and we knew that even through your no-nonsense ways, we were loved. I remember the times you took my sisters and me fishing, and then you'd let us know how much you 'appreciated' us running along the riverbank scaring the fish away! I couldn't count the times we sat in your living room with you and Grandpa watching wrestling or Hee Haw, or sat in your dining room playing Skip-Bo or Uno, or how many different ways you served chicken when we'd come for dinner. We had good memories, Grandma, and I'm thankful that I was able to enjoy your company for almost 40 years. Although you're gone, those memories will always be with me. I know you're in a far better place - with Grandpa, Jamie, and Stevie Ray - and are surely enjoying your first moments in heaven more than you enjoyed your 95 years on this earth. You will be missed - and you'll always be loved.

What a loving tribute to your grandma. I'm sorry for your loss too.
Thank you ladies. She lived a long life, knew Jesus, and was ready to go. I'm a little melancholy - but knowing she's in heaven makes things a lot easier.
